Its been just over 3 weeks since I last checked in, I went on vacation, and then had to play ketch-up at work and with some side jobs at home. This cane is a copy of one I did a year ago, The owner asked me to make one more for a very good friend of his. He tells me that he could sell as many of these canes that I can make, My reply to him is to take the orders and collect the cash and I will make as many as he wants. but Im not going the count my chickens before they are hatched. ;-) As you can see this is both a Legacy and a Lathe project, The Legacy was used to make the body, I used the wave attachment was used to make the zig-zage lines. and the handle was made on my Shopsmith . The black lines on the handle were burned in by the use of a wire, and the black lines on the care are painted before the cane was sanded and sealed. If anyone has any questions or comments, Please feel free to ask. I hope everyone is having a good summer. talk to you all latter.
