Thanks Tim.
I like simple as well, but the purpose of this exercise is to push the envelope
(so to speak) I've done simple and now I need to test my skills a little
further , more complex turning seems the way to go... The neat thing here is
this is only a three start rope, the plunging router bit is the only detail
that make it look fancy,
By the way guys, this plunging, is really just a modification of Mike Indexing
method, I marked the drive gear (B on the standard gear set.) with a sharpy
marker, and plunged down when my mark was in the up position. If I had let the
router bit run as normal, I would have ended up with a three start rope. So in
this case the buttons/plunging makes this look fancy, but the only thing
different is the amount of time it takes to make. Advance, stop, plunge,
repeat... until your done. YOU SEE Fancy, dose not always mean Hard, its just
something different . ;-)

Have a good day.

I'm liking the indexed plunge cuts. For my tastes, I'd go a little more simple
with 1 or two starts. I know this was just a test.

Here is a test cut, Please let me know what you think?
Its a three start rope with a plunging index cut with the same router bit.
