Hi Bill I think this project could be done on the Legacy, I mean even just a planing bit to flatten the top would go a long way. but if the dishing part was absolute necessary A vertical template could be made to control the plunge depth on the Z axis easily enough. In the worse case, the Legacy could just plane the surface flat and like this guy did sand and carve out the top to shape would not be all that hard to do.(there was not a huge dish done to the top of that stool.) And the table its self could even be done on the Legacy if you wanted to make a large turn table like that Legacy (the company) did to make there water wheel. in magazine #6 pages 10-12 that's it for now. talk to you and all latter.
