Don’t know how to do that.

Thanks Bill but my drop box capacity is full so I can neither open it nor store
the file, it’s a 1200 LOM.

I put a copy of a manual here if you need one I can’t remember what model you
have if it’s not the correct one I may have it but

I only have a few manuals

LOL, the mice made a nest from my owner’s manual stored in the shed with the
mill, at least they’re getting good use of it.

I’m very well aware of Legacy’s track record once they make a sale,
interestingly I belong to no less than 5 woodworking and woodturning clubs here
in New England, only once have I run into anyone with a LOM. The largest
group the Northeastern Woodworkers Association (www.woodworker.org) about 850
members has the longest running such show (www.nwawoodworkingshow.org) every
year for the past 25 years that Legacy has recently attended but ½ the time
they forget to even bring any equipment with them.

If not you might be able to work with one of these--- I think you said you had
the manual it’s in there and is easy enough to make one

Although indexing might be a problem you would have to measure the
circumference and index by measurement.

I wish you luck getting legacy to respond they don’t have a good history of
after sales care, so find out everything you will ever need to know before you
hand over the money if you decide to buy

Got it thanks Bill,

I will have to see if the rotary table on my 1200 can handle making the 30”
diameter pie crust top but that may be awhile as the LOM is in the storage shed
until I can sell my General 26020 VD 556 pound lathe to make room for it in the
shop; however, the top is not really the challenge as I make them with a hand
held router and 2 sets of jigs, the intricate carving detail on the column,
legs and the claw feet is the where the devil in the details is that’s why I
challenge Legacy to make one with one of their CNC machines, basically put
their money where their mouth is.

Unavailable, won’t load, can’t open whatever term you‘d like to chose. Maybe
it’s me but then again that’s why I’m reluctant to buy into a CNC system when I
know squat about programming and software.

Michael (and others),
Are you referring to this site as not available?:
Don's http://www.ornamentalmills.com/turningaround/PieCrustTable.htm .
I was able to view it and still can - using the link that was provided. I
think you may have some issue to deal with. Note: I did nothing special to
access it - just clicked on the link and it took me to the site with drawings
of the Pie Crust Table and how Don made it.
Better luck on your re-try and Happy New Year to you all.
Mac

Close, except for the lack of the ornate carvings on the column.
