Ditto to Mike's comments - I agree.  Something else you may want to consider:  There may be a Group member that lives near you.  If you let us know where you are (just the city & state) a nearby member and you may find it mutually beneficial to get together for a mug of coffee and share both of ya'll's experiences. 
Having that person available to "help" or learn from you in your shop could turn out to be a wonderful and memorable time for you both.

Gerald, I am sure that in 83 years you have amassed many tricks of many trades that you will be able to relate to or transfer concepts that would solve problems or send the gears to smokin.  Never think you have nothing to offer, my favorite people to talk to are the retired.  After you get past the fact they can't hear themselves fart, they are, as I am sure you are, a wealth of experiences.  So please share.
