Hello MichaelI agree, it is interesting, I hope they all sell. but I for one
would not even think of buying any of these machine, not for the price asking
for.
I guess its a personal thing. I mean I bought my Legacy for $3000.00 some Years
ago. and I do not regret it. That was perhaps the best wooding purchases that I
ever made.Having said that, I've grown in both my woodworking and in the types
of things I make.  I've pretty much out grown my Legacy, but at this time there
is nothing better on the market for sale.Personally, one of those larger model
,1500- 1800 machine would be nice. but size is not the only FACTOR, I would run
into with buying another machine.
(Even thought I feel the prices are to high, I still feel that there is not
another machine on the market that can do more for what I make then the
Legacy.Again its need vs money...  Personal matters.)
Sadly all machine have there own problems. the old steely units and older 1000
ex. have bushing, (either brass or plastic.) that ware out. or have been
already worn out, that may cause play in the turning. A motor drive is a must.
(sadly most don't have one...) Z axis??? (control of the depth of cut.) and so
on...The reason why I stated #2 was the best choice. is, It has ball bearing,
not bushing, there is a new Z axis is on this machine. Alum. rails, motor
drive.  All be bells and whistles, anyone would want.
Now that model 2000 ??? the owner dose not know what they have (Its miss
labeled to start with its not a CNC. ) There is only one picture is the
posting. no parts are shown (or talked about) ,No history on the machine...  If
one gear is missing you will have to have it custom made. (its not a standard
gear) custom parts plus shipping for the West coast. make this machine to risky
for my taste to try buying.
I have to run now. its time for me to get to work.talk to you and everyone more
latter.

{}#yiv5257759091 Interesting the prices that they are all asking but I’m even
more curious as to what they actually get for them for if they even manage to
sell them at all. Michael K  From: 'Curt George' via Legacy Ornamental Mills

My personal favorite! Not because its the best, but its the biggest unit
Legacy ever made.   I want it. but shipping this monster... would be $$$.  (big
money!) So I'm out!   If anyone wants to buy this, they have my blessing. (but
Im still drooling over the possibility's.)  ;-)  Have a good day.  C.A.G.   --
