Bill,

Richard "beat me to the punch".  You asked for that one.

Richard,
You could use the 3-legged stool to "showcase" the capabilities of your LOM:  Make 1 leg a Right-hand spiral, 1 leg a Left-hand spiral, and the third leg make it a 6, 8, 10, or 12 sided flat (and tapered?) leg or a cylindrical (and tapered?) fluted leg.
Then, next time you have any visitors to your home - see if ANY of them even notice the 3 legs are each different.  It will be an interesting "experiment".
The other thing you could also do is make 3 legs of the style you plan to go with - and make two more: one each of the other two styles.  Initially assemble it with one of each style.  Then after the above "experiment" has run its course (6 months or a year) swap the 2 odd legs out - replacing them some all 3 are identical.  If it were me, I'd make all three different!  THAT'S "Artistic License"!

Hi Curt

I have been a little preoccupied as of late   (house move )

The stool------------ if it were to have four legs I would do a left hand rope spiral on two legs and the other two right hand

Question is what if I make a three legged stool.which twist???????????????
