IMHO the rotary table greatly expands the capability of the LOM.  Like many 
woodworking machines you just have to tailor it to your needs.  I recently 
posted a thread here titled "rotary table modifications", since that 
posting I have put together two rotary table "inserts" so to speak, that I 
am still tweaking but so far are working pretty well.  I've enclosed a pic, 
(hope it came across it's been awhile since I've tried this).  With the 
changes I can now accurately center the table in seconds, change out table 
inserts without have to remove rotary table, ( I tack-welded threaded tees 
to underside of table), also has a threaded center for holding down wood 
pieces.  I use sacrificial wood base pieces that are held fast by the wood 
inserts.
