Bill, Thanks again for sharing.  Interesting machine.

Now, a question for you:  Which one of the "blokes" in the SymTek Lathe video is you?

I never did see a template that the cutter holding device would ride up against to duplicate a pattern.   Is there one?  Or is it more based on free-form?

One on the gents mentioned making exact copies - so I expect there is a Template and a template follower - just never saw one.

It is and works really well with a 4 inch angle grinder with a saw blade

 

they came with lots of extras including a built in grinder for tool sharpening shame their not made any more
