Hello EmanuelAmazon
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=limit+switches&ref=nb_sb_noss_1  has a number of
different stiles of switches that you can buy on the cheep.Granger and
McMasters also have limit switches for sale. and so dose E-bay.
All depending on why kind of switch you buy, the mounting of the switch on the
Legacy will differ.I mounted mine on the top rail of the Legacy,   Legacy
mounted them on the under side of the rail and used another bracket to contact
the switch.
To make things easier for me to wire I only used on switch, (I normally cut in
one direction on my Legacy.so I saw no reason to have more then one switch on
my machine.)Also to keep the wiring as neat as possible. I used speaker wire.
(Its cheap and the wires are flexible and tied together making a cleaner
looking set-up.)
Keep up the good work, I can wait to see what you come up with.Wish you the
best of luck.C.A.G. On Saturday, May 4, 2019, 2:16:41 PM EDT, Emmanuel

Hi Kurt and Bill, Thank you for your answer. It was quite obvious but still I
wondered if there was some kind of trick.I will need to order new switches. Do
you have any idea where I can order LOM compatible limit switches?
Thank you  again.

 Hello Emmanuel
If  I understand your question about the stops. If you use your machine by the
use of your hand cranking, the stops work pretty well, If you are using a motor
to drive your machine, then you need something else, Like a limit switch to
stop the motor. the stops will not or should not  be used when you are using a
motor to drive your machine.
If you are using the motor drive that Legacy sold, they use two limit switches
for there stops. If you are making your own motor drive you need to make your
own limit switch to stop your motor.I made my own. Here are a few pix. of what
I did.

Hi Everyone, I am back mounting and testing my LOM 1800 and have a basic
question.I am afraid that if I use stops (locking shaft collar or other kind of
improved stops system) to stop the carriage move, is there a risk I damage the
split knut mount which is PLASTIC made on the x axis lead screw or even worse
damage the engine ?!It seems that stops are good only if you do not using
engine, right? So what about stops is you run the engine on the x axis
scew?Thank you!
