Yes not a big fan of Tape. Has to be quick and secure.

I think the low profile clamps or wedges sound good. I'm going to test some wedging today and look on line

for some good clamps as well.

Holding things tight and down are a bit of a problem so has anyone mounted feather boards on the Carriage to hold the part down? I don't want to use double stick tape either as I am a production shop so I am always looking for efficiencies.
