Yes - I did notice.  In fact the seller mentions it too.
Answer: It is in Florida - Sanford; which is between Orlando and the Atlantic Ocean.
Having lived in the tropics, I can tell you - everything (almost) rusts - even stainless (its stainLESS; not stainPROOF).
It is probably more the humidity, and not proximity to salty air.  Seems it is in a functioning shop - so it is most likely not in an a/c controlled environment.  That being said, there is light surface rust on the rails (X and Y axis) with the larger (and more than surficial?) rust spots being on the operator side(?) X-axis rail.  It is my guess those came from sweaty arms contacting the rail when manipulating the stock to be milled.
