Large columns for the front of a house, the large post at the top and bottom of stairs, large single leg for a poker tables or any other round tables, large coffee table legs I have even seen a chair made from a 24 inch hollow spiral also I saw a 4 poster bed made with 14inch posts just to name a few thing I have seen made with larger than 10 inch spindles.
