Michael,

That lady is also probably one that puts all her aluminum kitchen items in the dishwasher and then wonders why they all now look like crap. (When new, they went in nice and shiney - and came out all dull looking, never to look nice again.)

I trust you "refunded" her with a pocket-full of wooden nickels.

Mac,

LOL, it was my wife’s insistence I refund her money, being all too familiar with divorce costs it was but a pittance to pay.

Michael,

Sorry to hear about your cutting board business being "all washed up".

I contacted Dr Anthony Fauci about a "cure" for that lady.   He informed me that, unfortunately, there is little to no hope for a cure for that "infectious malady" (commonly referred to as STUPID).  In fact, he told me it seems to becoming more prevalent than ever before.

If you make any more, perhaps brand a warning on the bottom:  "Do not put in dishwater nor the dishwasher!"  And in her case - brand it on BOTH sides!

Mac

Have never made 3D cutting boards from a band saw the way Alex does but many on a table saw; got very much into them 2-3 years ago but couldn’t sell them for a profit considering the time and materials then the icing on the cake was last year when I had to give the money back to a lady who ran one thru her dishwasher that caused it to separate.

Michael

I have seen a bit of the 3d cutting boards just the previews of it. I have his videos on setting and tuning up bandsaws

Very informative guy

Thanks, Bill.

Alex Snodgrass is an excellent presenter/instructor.

I always enjoy attending his seminars/demonstrations at The Woodworking Shows.

I wonder if he has any similar presentations for other electrical shop tools - like repairing a Porter Cable 7518 Router.

If you haven't seen his sessions of making 3D Cutting Boards, you need to!

Cheers!

Mac
