Install a override inching button that’s what legacy has, push that till the
saddle moves off the limit switch then when you let the inching button up the
feed will keep going on its own till you stop it or it hits the other limit
switch.

Subject: Re: Question to all?

Hey guys now I have a question for all. Some might remember I bought a 1200
several months ago and decided to put a drive motor on it. Bought an original
Dayton 90vdc (new old stock) off eBay. Bought a 90vdc controller (not
Legacy).that all works very well. I decided to put limit switches on to control
forward and reverse stops or left and right which ever way you wish to look at
it.
Got everything to work but have one problem I haven’t been able to solve. When
limit switch stops the travel in one direction I want to be able to flip the
manual reversing switch to start the travel in the opposite direction. That
won’t work. I have to back the router sled off the limit switch for that to
happen. Hope I have explained that sufficiently.
I’m sure it’s probably in my wiring. Not much of an electrician. If close up
pics would help I can post some.
Thanks
Denson
