Like others have stated - welcome.

Generally, when folks join our Group, with their "introduction posting" they tell us a bit about themselves; like: rough area where they live (in case another member is within reasonable driving distance - allowing ya'll to have a meet up); how long they have been interested in/doing woodworking; what is/are your woodworking "skills" & "hot buttons"; what other machinery do you have in your shop; and anything else you care to share.

As you have already experienced - we are all here to help each other.  So the better idea we have of what machinery and interests you have, the better someone will be able to "help".

We used to have a "members map" that may or may not be accessible - that showed the general location of where members were and the model(s) of mill(s) they had. (Not sure there was enough space on the map pins for Tim Z. and NY Joe to list all of their machines! LoL) 

Hopefully someone will jump in and update us on the current status of that map.
