Subject: Question about Bowls on REVO

The "first LOM twist" thread is long and this is a bit different. So new
conversation.

Bill and Tim were talking about larger chucks to mount on REVO, so my mind
turned to bowl work.

Question: what is an efficient way to move bowl work from lathe to REVO for
decorative work?

Is there history that points to this experience? I haven't been down that path
yet, but creative juices are stirring. The rotary table has pretty stringent
height limitations for interior work, so I'm thinking first of exterior
decoration of a form already made on a lathe. The spindle on the REVO just
doesn't seem adequate to hold a bowl without tail stock support. So moving a
footed turning blank held in a NOVA chuck to the REVO doesn't seem like a
straightforward option.

Maybe I'll just stick to spindle work for a bit.

Inquiring mind wants to know.
