By chance did your purchase include an owner's manual? I have lost mine to hungry rats and need one. If you could send me a copy, it would be deeply appreciated. I would pay you for your time. Let me know. On Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 06:42:28 PM PST, Jeff Richmond <jtric...@gmail.com> wrote: Nice looking machine 👍

I was successful this week in finding a nice condition LOM 1200 that does not appear to be used much. 2nd owner said he bought it for table legs but then never really used it and needed space in his shop. Price was right because it only had 1 drive gear. It has the std index gear set, rotary table, 4 jaw chuck, casters, router. Cleaned it up and adjusted things to run a test piece of walnut out of my scrap bin. I threw a bowl bottom bit on it that I already had to round over the piece and then put a faint spiral on it to start to get a feel for the machine. It ran/crank pretty smooth on the x/y axis. Z is just the plunge for now, time will tell me if i want to go z-axis hunting in the future. My DynaGlide showed up today so I'm good there. Also talked to Cindy at Legacy and she had a set of drive gears on the shelf so they are already headed my way. Hope to really play this weekend. Also need to buy a few router bits for rope/barley twists. I have decent collection of general bits already. Also will be fabricating my own thin stock support for future use. This group has been very helpful so far so thanks for that. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Legacy Ornamental Mills" group.
