Hey Bill & all, So the finished diameter is 5/8 on the tapered end and the large end is 7/8. The original size of my blank was about 1 1/8, I milled it down to about 1 inch then proceeded to run the taper. >From there I did all the pretty stuff. 12 flutes and 6 starts on the spiral or (rope)
