How about up-grading your equipment with what you can find or make, vs what you don't have? simple things like a spindle drive motor, and or linear rail, can be bought at a moderately low price on Amazon and E-bay. As I understand (no first hand info.) water cooled and some new air cooled router motor are on the market that are more powerful and a lot quitter than a normal hand plunge router sold on the general market, today. ("Tool Man Taylor" would be grunting at/or with the new Binford 2023 industrial routers, that not only cut wood on the mill, but will also cut the entire city blocks grass in one hour, and cutting a checker pattern in it in two...) ;-p With all kidding aside, Making your Legacy your own, can be extremely rewarding.
