Thank you Dan well done as far as I know you are the first to video box joints being made on the legacy

I'll not make that mistake again! This cuts SO beautifully with no tear out, no backers, no scoring. I'm working through making 25 little drawers to fit in the case, 16 small ones and 9 larger ones. I'll have couple more pictures and perhaps a video of this process. The accuracy is almost unbelievable if one is careful. These pictures show the assembled case (less shelves) waiting for warm day to spray lacquer and a little jig for squaring up the parts for pinning with 2 -23 ga pins to hold a bundle of four. The bundling makes quick work of cutting the fingers on the REVO using the ruler to verify index spacing of turning the crank. <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/4422e9eb8f38b/Capture1.PNG?part=0.2&view=1> <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/4422e9eb8f38b/Capture.PNG?part=0.1&view=1> DanK On Monday, January 8, 2024 at 8:55:52 PM UTC-5 Tim Ziegler wrote: Thanks Dan, Very interesting. That's how I envisioned it by what you explained. great job and so glad it's working out like you hoped. Keep me posted in how it goes. It appears to be more meticulous than my Omni Jig however. I still want to do it just so I can say I did. loll Keep up the great work Dan. Kind Regards, Timothy J. So here are some pictures: <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/d567ca40562/Capture.PNG?part=0.1&view=1> <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/d567ca40562/Capture4.PNG?part=0.3&view=1> <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/d567ca40562/Capture2.PNG?part=0.2&view=1> <https://groups.google.com/group/legacy-ornamental-mills/attach/d567ca40562/Capture3.PNG?part=0.4&view=1> Using a 1/2" straight bit and the REVO frame ruler to verify positioning of 4 crank turns for indexing, I cut two joints at a time with the bundles offset 1/2". Then turn them over and reset for the other two joints. It works out the best to pin the two sides together and the top and bottom together in the orientation they will be assembled, then offset those "bundles" under the clamps. I use the triangle marking system to keep track of orientation. The first clamp setup was very awkward because of clearance issues. So I reworked the clamping idea using my shop clamp system started and expanded from Shopsmith.system. The second picture shows it to be much handier. The other pictures show how accurate the results are. I used no backer board, but you can see that I did score a line where the bit exits. Clean. Next up, a whole bunch of drawers.
