I am really enjoying myself, with these projects. By using the template
follower on my Legacy, really makes things much easer,for me. but even with
out, Having the ability of adding details like roping, fluting,and using the
wave attachment, Makes the Legacy a very special tool. It gave me aLOT . That
I was missing (skill wise.), before I bought my Legacy Ornamental Mill.
I tell everyone, to PLAY with your machine as much as you can, before you try
to make anything serious. Honestly, With these bone turnings that I have been
doing, I can see an improvement in myskills, as well quality of my work, over
the last few years that I have been doing this.I am getting better! and every
time I learn something new, it again becomes "Play time" for me.
For me , LIFE IS to serious, Life weirs me down. I need to escape every so
often, and this toy/tool/LOMis my escape form reality. ;-) Here are are few of
my first handles, and some of the newer one of today.enjoy.

this handle.
I used the standard gear set, cutting a 2" pitch, 4 starts, (1/2" spacing)
using my set-up blocks, then cleaned up some details and sanded on the Shop
Smith. Then I buffed it with white jeweler's rouge.Over all I am very happy
with both the template and my newest bone turning.If anyone is interested, I
can go into more details on both the bone turning as well as how I have been
making my newest Stainless steel templates. (NOTE: Warning I made 6 new
templates this week. IT can be habit forming, and a lot of fun.) ;-)
