John as far as training. I suggest to "PLAY" with your machine as much as you can, that is the best training you can get, Try new things and see what you come up with. AS a Side note. DO NOT attempt to make anything for real while you Play, Use "Free" wood, (fire wood, scraps wood, garbage finds. to name a few... You do not want to waist good wood while you play.)
Last night after I posted my projects, I went back out and touched up one of my bone turnings. Its not 100% true/symmetrical, to the turning, but over all I think I like it.
