(I picked up 5 jigs when I bought the crate of end mills a few weeks ago.) The idea is so simple. your first cut/grind is on 0 and then all you need to do it move the jig to one of 3 other numbers on the dial, (4,6,8,) to get those indexes. ON my 200 this will mean I can index 4,6,or 8 indexes with out having to adjust the gears or linkage of this machine. all that I will have to do is set my starting point/stop, and then adjust the grind mate to what ever index I choose to get that number of indexes I want. SUPPER Simple! The down side. it is BIG and heavy for my machine, taking up room that may be needed. My hope is to miniaturize this jig/concept to make it more useable. But at this time, I have a working jig. and I plan to do some R&D on it this weekend. (to make sure there are no bugs in the works...) Please let me know what you all think?
