Bill,

If the problem is how to transfer the Legacy 5 data to the new
computer, the easiest way is to do a backup then copy the backup to a
CD or a removable drive and then copy it into your new computer. Then
you can open it in Legacy 6 by doing a File Restore.

Listers,

I am new to the group even though I have used Legacy 5 since it came out. I
recently bought a new computer and decided to upgrade to version 6. My
problem is that I cannot find a feature in 6 that will import my version 5
files. The only way I can think of to load the ver 5 files is to create a
GEDCOM and import it into 6. This seems to be an awkward way of doing it.
I am sure this has been addressed before, so, if someone could help me out I
would appreciate it.
