Yes, I can do that; I'm just looking for a one-step process. That was a
very neat option in FTM -- worked with locations, sources.

Hi Pat,
At the end of the location line, the first icon is a downward arrow. If
the wrong completion comes up, click on that icon and you will see your
other entries. Then select the previously entered location that you want.
Very fast and convenient.

One thing I don'tknow gow to do in Legacy that was easy in Family
TreeMaker has to do with entering info in various boxes -- locations,
names, sources.
Let's say I am entering "Monongalia Co., W(VA)," which I've entered many
times and as I type it in, the entry is automatically completed for me as
I go along with a) Monroe Co., ST, b)Monongahela Valley, c) Monongalia
Co., WV. In other words I have to have almost the ENTIRE entry manually
typed in, before I get the right one.
FTM has a little garbage can icon at the end of the line that you can
click on and the automatic entry will remain in your master list but not
come up automatically as you are making your entry, and that of course
saves a lot of time!
Does this make sense?
Does Legacy have something similar? -- I can't seem to find it!
Thanks!
Pat
