Hi Jan,
Make backups of both databases in case you want to start again when you understand the process better. Then Merge one database into the other and combine Duplicates. It looks quite complicated, but once you get a feel for the screens it's not so complicated - but can be time consuming. It is worth marking definite non-duplicates as non-duplicates.

You might want to start by reading the Help file on merging. There are several sections if you look at
Help > Search for help on - merge (merging)

Cheers,
Cathy

Currently I have two large databases in Legacy and am finding multiple overlapping names. In northern New England we seem to all be related! How do I combine these databases? Thanks for any help you can give me!
