With Legacy Deluxe you can create your own narrative sentence formats using the "Edit Event Sentence Definition" button located under the "Notes" box. With a little bit of experimentation (and by using the "Sentence Override" tab for specific instances that don't fit the sentence format you create) you can have your narrative sentences read just as you want them.
