you can also convert the PDF to e.g. JPG. Enough tools support this.

In Legacy 5 and Legacy 6 it is possible to attach a file of any type to an event - or anywhere else you can add a picture. Click the Picture Icon. Choose the Sound option Change to view files of all types (Files of type: All files) Find and attach your PDF etc. Note that these can not be included in reports like a picture can be. However they are there to view whenever you wish from within the program.
