Thank you. I do understand there are two programs here to consider. My understanding of the Palms, using Palm OS and not Windows, is that they are read-only. In other words, you can transfer from Legacy but not do any input at the library. You would have easy access to to-do lists, looking up relationships, or whatever but you can't type in new stuff onto the Palm? Is this correct or did I read something on-line incorrectly?

GEDSTAR Pro is the Gene program to use with a Palm PDA. I have a Palm Z22 and am able to transfer all my Legacy Data over to the PDA using Gedstar. My desktop computer uses Windows XP and I have no problem taking data over to the Palm.
I think Pocket Genealogist is for the other brand of PDA, that uses the Windows/MS operating system
If you go to the bottom the Home page for Legacy, you will see the two items listed there, and more info on each.
