Richard: I am just starting to put source info in my databases, although I have been using Legacy for several years.
I am currently putting obit text in the Event window's Notes tab. I have found that, in the Descendant Narrative and Book, what you put in Event's Notes is placed inline in the body of the document under Events. If you put in Source, Deatil, Detail Text it appears in the endnotes. I personally feel that things like obits go in the body of the document, but details from a census page go in the endnotes, so I capture them accordingly.
