This is probably a restriction within Legacy itself, fortunately. CD writing requires a constant, steady flow of data best delivered by a program written for that purpose--not Legacy. Back up to hard disk first, then from there to CD. Alternatively, back up to USB memory key. Incidentally, it would be preferable to back up to somewhere other than C:\Legacy\Data on your hard drive; e.g.: C:\MyBackups Peter
