You can delete these files without losing your data - which is all in the .fdb file - but you'll lose work you have done.
As far as I know:
.CB files are to do with the source clipboard
.FG - not sure what this one is - except that each of my databases has one.
.IGI - your IGI searches
.PPL - Potential Problems List
.RGD - Research Guidance
.TC files - re To Do Clipboard
.MRG - Merge work file (when a merge is in progress)

Sherry recently suggested you add the IGI file and the RGD file to your backup.

My main data file has the suffix .fdb. But what do these suffixes mean? What are the files used for? Is it safe to delete them?
    .CB
    .FG
    .IGI
    .PPL
    .RGD
    .TC
