Beth, I have to second Noelene's message. I have been using Legacy for years and the only time I have had to re-install was when my computer crashed for some microsoft reason or when I got a new computer. I've never had the problems with corrupted or missing files or anything like that. Now I should knock on wood. --- Linda Bischoff
Beth wrote - Just wondering how many Legacy users run Legacy routinely without any problems whatsover. Beth, I have never had any problems with Legacy. EVER. I am constantly amazed at the daily glitches people encounter. I have found that with any new software the best way to get used to it is by going through each of the top drop-down menus [File, Edit, etc.] and seeing what is available and what each function is for and its options and how to use them. I don't use "How To" books - they're time consuming and usually frustratingly complicated. The best practice is constant use of any programme and becoming familiar with all of its features. For my money, Legacy is not perfect but by far has the best genealogy software because of its on-screen user-friendly view and ultimate printing options.
