Ron, I hadn't moved any photos ... they are all where they were originally.
Nicholas, If the popup blocker was the problem, why wouldn't it also stop
the other photos that were attached? Usually I get a message from the
pop-up blocker when it blocks??
Cathy, it seems that my copy of word is an old one, or not complete, as
I couldn't find a "Links" category under edit to embed into word.
However, I do appreciate the input from all of you ...
I can do the reports using the old attached method and the photos do
stay in the report ... so all is not lost!

I've been doing scads of Descendant books in RTF and I had checked
the "embed photos in RTF reports" place in the options.
When I checked each one right after the creation, everything was perfect.
When I went back into the reports the next day. ALL of the photos have
disappeared!
There are just faint lines with a small red x in the corner.
There must be something I've done wrong ...
Can anyone on this wonderful users group help me?
For the time being I am using the other photo option and I am manually
entering the photos into the reports. This is a lot of additonal work.
