Yes, I agree.  It would make a lot of sense to only have to enter events
like census records only once, then attach the event to any person.  It
would make for less data entry and thus better data integrity.  This would
be good on any type of event that could be shared by more than one person.

Programmatically, it seems that it's all in how you link it to the person.
Also perhaps it would save space on the file size..??

So, what happened to this great idea?
