Adrian, Your email prompted me to look at the video saving of avi files for
the first time and like yours it did not work. I then played around a bit
and moved the video file to Legacy's default (C:\Legacy\Videos) and it still
didn't work. I then changed the video player in Options>Customise>Launch
away from Legacy built-in player to Windows media default player and it
worked.
It seems to me that in version 110 Legacy's player is not working. Whether
it is necessary to actually place the video in C:\Legacy|Videos I haven't
checked.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Video not playing
Date: Sat, 16 Sep 2006 13:37:40 +0100
Hi all
I have tried to add a video clip that runs for 6 mins to my own details in
legacy deluxe, latest version. I can find the file and select it, it puts
an
icon with video on it in the box in the picture gallery, when I click it
the
play button lights up but when I press play the video icon goes and nothing
plays.
I can play the file fine on my system, its in avi format.
Any help as how to get legacy to play it would be appreciated.
Adrian
