Good Morning I was told my Legacy support that the Legacy User Group
might be able to help me. First a little background. A couple of months ago we
had major computer problems and ended up getting a new hard drive. The
date from the old hard drive had been backed up on an external drive. When
installing the software again I discovered that I did not have my copy of FTM
2006. I did still have a copy of FTM 2005. I contacted Legacy to
find out if I purchased there program would I have any problem importing to
Legacy my FTM 2005 and FTM 2006 files. I was told, incorrectly, that I would
not. I am able to take any of the files that were updated to FTM
2005 and export them to a GEDCOM file and then import to Legacy. Since I
don’t have the software for FTM2006, I can’t import to
Legacy. These are the files I am currently working on. The
individual at tech support suggested that someone on the list might have FTM
2006 and would be able to convert the files for me. Any help that can be given I appreciate deeply Marilyn Legacy User Group guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ For online technical support, please visit http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp |
