My library reported patrons could *partially* use Ancestry.com, whatever that means. They cannot print, download, or save censuses.

The subscriptions are pricey. But if you use it a lot, it can worth it. I justified it this way:  It cuts back on my travel expenses!

I am able to go to my public library and use ancestry.com for free - check it out in your hometown!

Subject: [LegacyUG] Paid Genealogy Search Sites

I am just now returning to doing my family’s genealogy, and am wondering if anybody has subscribed to any of the paid genealogy search sites, like Ancestry.com. I have used Legacy for a long time, and now that there is an option to link to numerous sites from within the program, I am wondering if any of these are more beneficial than others. The subscription are rather pricey.
