Well, actually, you could also put teh information in the notes. I'd say it's a matter of how you prefer to handle it.
Tehre is no hard and fast way to handle data in genealogy. For instance, I never went through the detailed source screens - I just put sources in my notes, and I have only one sort of them per person.
