Well, it isn't as off topic as you might think; the use of genealogy
software opens the problem of what information should be shared how.
Notice that the entire can of worms in this case appears to have been
opened
by teh creation of a Legacy database for a local historical society; see
below.
I also considered that this person who may (my assumption) be getting on
in
years herself, may happen to have developed a trusting relationship with
this list.
We discuss alot of peripheral topics here, especially methodological
questions. For instance, what has what to call the unknown parent of
several siblings specifically to do with how to use Legacy?
