One possibility: Use the Publishing Center as if you were producing a book, only it would be a stack of Family Group sheets in the order you want them. Your "batches" of sheets are probably fairly stable, so you can create as many "books" as you want and reuse them.

Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Hi Everyone, I have been following the numerous discussions on filing systems with interest. I like the idea of the MRIN filing system but for me can see one drawback. When visiting relatives that how do you take your information with you when you don't have a laptop computer and your information is filed in different folders under the MRIN? I have been filing my family group sheets in folders according to the family line. As I am in Australia and most relatives are interested in the ancestors that arrived and the descendants down so I use the immigrants as the starting point. If the family is a large one and too much for one folder, I give each child and their family a new folder. I then file the group sheets in the order as laid out in a Descendant Report. One problem that arrises is when printing out a batch of family group sheets, they print out in alphabetical order and there is no way that I can see to change this to an order similar to the descendant report. Does any one have any suggestions or ideas.
