Linda, I have used foldershare, although it's been a while. In order to use it, both the host computer (the one sharing the files) and the receiving computer must be on. The receiving computer must also have programs installed that are compatible with the files that are being shared, e.g. Word for documents, Excel for spreadsheets, etc. I don't remember if you can select which files/folders to share or if it automatically shares everything on your computer. You aren't able to view the files before downloading, which is a bit of a drag when it relates to pictures.

Folder share is a beta program from Windows Live Has anyone used this feature? It is free from https://www.foldershare.com/info/aboutFoldershare.php I am curious if it was worthwhile for genealogy sharing. Thanks, Linda Have you unlocked the real power of Legacy?
