It's true that version 3 won't open a version 6 file but it is my
understanding that Legacy will always open an older version file.

Have you tried downloading Version 3 and running it on that program?

I ask because I had an old version of the program on my daughter's computer
in Texas. When I went to see them I tried to copy my data to her computer.
WOULD NOT WORK!

The data from a newer version does not work with an older version of the
program so it stands to reason that it might also be the other way.

Old data wont work on newer software. Sure wont hurt to check it out before
you have a complete nervous breakdown.
Good luck!!!
Myrna
