On the other hand, I thought about the ibid option. As long as you are citing same the exact same Master Source with the exact same source detail, the source citation itself should print just once. If only the source detail is different, then you will want to use the ibid option. Click on Options and select Customize on the drop-down menu. Next click the Sources tab and in the ‘Citation Formatting’ section, check the box to use the abbreviation "ibid." in source citation lists to indicate that a particular citation is the same as the previous one but with different detail. In addition, the Source Clipboard is a feature in Legacy that can tremendously increase the efficiency with which you document the sources of the information you enter into your Family File for multiple people. The Source Clipboard will assign the exact same Master Sources and exact same source detail to each individual record. You can then record the sources of each piece of information to these multiple people by simply clicking one button.
