Hi Cathy

It is funny - I've just tried reproducing it again too. And I can't. I know
that I had ticked the box for the location index as I also generate a table
of contents which I distinctly remember stated Names and Location Index as
the very last item. However there was a Name index but no Location index. I
was so confused that I double checked everything to make sure that it wasn't
just me and it happened many times. I was really surprised to see the post
by Leon which described a similar problem that I was having. I only use the
report button however and not the publishing centre (I've only just realized
the difference) and I was still having the same fault that Leon was when
trying to create a location index.

However, I just tried going into the publication centre to try to replicate
Leon's fault and I was able to in this location even though I couldn't when
in the reports area. I was almost surprised when I found that I could
replicate the fault in the publication centre.

I'll go and report it as a fault now and hopefully someone at Legacy will
also be able to replicate it.

Regards,

Belinda

Hi Belinda,

To get a bug fixed, it has to be reported (see Legacy Home Tab -
Report a bug) and acknowledged - ie someone on staff needs to be able
to reproduce it - and then it can be addressed by the programmers.

I can't reproduce this bug at all.
It's possible that the tick in the Index Options for Location Index
has stopped being sticky - though I haven't found that. When you
haven't got the Location Index as expected, have you checked that it
was selected?

In the Publication Centre, you need to check the index on the Additional
Tab.
