Jose,
What you seem to be saying is that even without the pictures the program
still crashes . Hence the problem must be elsewhere as you suggest.
In this instance I think you are best contacting Legacy Support as there may
be a relationship problem from within your DB.

Concerning the way I handle pictures, I open the original .tiff file in
IrphanView, and save them as .jpg (not .jpeg) in the Legacy/pictures
folder.
The problem seems however to be somewhere else. Some of the descendant
charts with pictures work without problems. Only two of the individual
whose
descendance I want to report cause Legacy's crash.
I've deleted the pictures attached to them but the problem remained.
Any help or any suggestion to solve the problem?

How did you change from the .tiff to the .jpeg format? If you did not do
this correctly then that may be the cause of the problem.
More likely however, is the fact that Legacy does not like the .jpeg
extension but is quite happy with ..jpg. Nobody seems to know why, but
there
it is.
