Alt-F then "X" exits Legacy. If you really wanted to just close the
current file you are working on, but *not* exit Legacy, do this:
Alt-F then "C"

A list of the keyboard shortcuts is found in the Help file under....
Keyboard:Shortcuts, as well as in the back of the User's Guide.
To close with the shortcut, use Alt-F then X.
To navigate the selection boxes on the Index View, just press the tab key.
The individual will stay highlighted but the tab key will move you between
the three fields and the Options button. When you get to the Options button,
just press Enter to access the options.

I use the Legacy shortcuts whenever possible. Some keys are underlined, and
some buttons are highlighted. But many times, I wish I could navigate
without the mouse, but don’t see a way to do so. For example, the Close
button often doesn’t have a shortcut underlined letter. In another case,
the Index View, which I use a lot, doesn’t seem to have an easy way to get
back to the selection boxes of RIN, Given, Surname, once I’ve clicked on a
name in my list. Am I missing something?
