This is a real peeve of mine ... and the lack of flexible sizes for the
print areas is only one part of the problem.
I get a lot of those printing results too since the program does not have
the ability to have separate "from" dates and "to" dates in events. For
instance, I attended X school from Y date to Z date. The recommended
work-around of having a starting event and an ending event just doesn't cut
it.
This is compounded by the fact that "from-to" dates don't always sort
properly.
And don't get me started on those idiotic British quarter dates.

I have, in the date column, 1883-Jan 1884. It looks fine on the
screen under the persons page; however, when I try to print it, I
get "1883-Jan 1~". I am assuming the ~ means there is
information that can't print within the box size.
I am using the fully updated, most recent version of Deluxe.
If there is no fix for this problem, I'd certainly like to see
one.
