It is normal for Legacy to offer new purchasers the option of a free upgrade to a new version if one is imminient. This is normal business practice for many companies and in no way implies that the new version will be free.

I would be very surprised if the new version costs any less than version 6 did when it was first released. Let's be realistic Legacy has to pay its staff, developers, overheads and make a profit to stay in business. If it did not there would no Legacy for anyone.

For once let's get real about this and stop expecting the earth for nothing!

I purchased the download version 6 about six weeks ago.  When I bought it
their website said version  7 would be a free upgrade when it comes out.
